Before DataWeaveAI, I spent years in defense technology — an industry where contracts aren't just paperwork, they're mission-critical. Every vendor agreement, every subcontractor deal, every compliance document had to be reviewed meticulously. One missed clause could mean failed audits, security breaches, or millions in liability.
The problem? There were always more contracts than hours in the day. I watched teams spend entire weeks buried in NDAs, MSAs, and procurement agreements. Important deadlines slipped. Risky clauses went unnoticed until it was too late. And the tools available were either built for massive law firms with six-figure budgets or they were glorified Ctrl+F.
I kept thinking: we have AI that can understand natural language better than ever before — why are we still reading contracts line by line? So I built something about it.
